Kryptotel works on any valid internet connection, it supports directly all kind of mobile and wifi standard connection.
For mobile connection,im card, only data channel is used. it is NOT required to use a voice enabled sim card only data channel is used.
The data consumption is very low when in stand-by and about 12-30 Kbits during a call.
